What I Offer You and Your Dogs
Proper training is an essential part of good and responsible dog care. As a professional Dog Trainer in the Winnipeg and surrounding area for many years, I’ve worked with all sorts of different dogs and their owners. Whether group classes or one-on-one sessions, my training services are designed to give you and your dog the attention and care that you need.
Dog Training Classes
Group Style Obedience Classes
Group Obedience classes has been my most popular service, which I’ve been developing and perfecting since I started Tess's Dog Training. Each class, I do my best to work closely with each one of my clients and their puppies/dogs to help them achieve their training goals. Group classes are a great way to build or continue a foundation while allowing for proper socialization. I offer a variety of levels for all experience levels to suit puppies through to senior dogs.

Group classes run all year round and multiple times a week. Each round of classes consist of 1 hour each week for 6 consecutive weeks. The cost for group classes is $150. Please visit the group class page for available classes and information on how to register.
Private Training
Customized to fit your needs.
If your dog needs help with a specific or multiple training issues, or your have a puppy you just want to build a foundation with, and your schedule or lifestyle is not conducive for group classes, then Private training with Tess's Dog Training may be a great option for you. I come to your place, or location of our choosing, and we can work on whatever you need to have addressed with personalized plans to fit your dog’s needs and your lifestyle.

These sessions are 45 minutes - ONE hour in length.

Behaviour Consulting
Done one-on-one at your home.
My Behavior Consulting work involves an intimate understanding of your dog’s natural and individual history. Sometimes there is a miscommunication between dog and human, but my goal is to bring forward an understanding. Your dog has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your dog.
